From Sikh to Seeking the Lord Jesus Christ

Daughter of a Sikh priest, Kalbi Massey attended the Sikh temple in West Malaysia almost every week for 21 years to follow the rituals of the family religion.  It was after an amazing encounter with the Saviour of the World during a hospital stay that changed her life and she was healed from pulmonary tuberculosis and infertility.

Kalbi was raised a devout Sikh, and devoted her life to following the teachings of the 10 gurus.  However, her spiritual longings were not fulfilled until she had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ while being admitted into hospital in the UK.

Her Christian conversion could have brought devastating family dishonour and persecution, but instead it caused a revival back home in her native Asia and now most of Kalbi’s family share her strong Christian faith.  Kalbi has a deep desire to return to her homeland and share the good news of God’s amazing love and grace.

Kalbi is happily married to David and lives in the UK with their two children.  With such a powerful transformation, Kalbi is left with a deep desire to spread the Gospel to the world, and encourage others to do the same.

Kalbi will be at Peniel Church on the Friday 26th March, 7.30pm
