Tribemen come to Christ

In June 2010 I returned to the Central Peninsular of Malaysia to meet with the Orang Asli tribe living in the Rainforest. The tribe are aborigines who live deep in the jungle. They are nomadic and their settlement has around 150 men, women and children.

On the Move

Glorious weather- low 70s sun, is this really England? We saw a huge response in people coming through our BBQ site for free Burgers and sausages. Simple menu but great worship music lifting up the Lord right on the spot of the old chapel ruins built almost 800 years ago.

March Update from CFI

Pastors Seminar at Kafanchan

We just returned from holding a Pastors Seminar in Kafanchan, about two hours west of Jos. This morning we had services in our various branches in Jos and Henry is returning to Jos after looking at a new mission station in Bauchi State. The church I was in this morning sang beautifully “Nagodai”, which in Hausa is “Thank you”. This afternoon we are going into Jos radio for this week’s on air Bible study which goes through the whole north of Nigeria.

Bauchi Missions

Below, Jim Holdcroft speaks in one of CFI’s classes. We still have plenty of new students coming into the college. The man interpreting below (on the left) is David, the son of an Islamic king. He has been seriously persecuted for many years. He is studying at degree level now with CFI and wants to join CFI staff when finished to do mission work. He spoke in one of our churches last Friday night (which I attended) on Acts 4/5, about unity in sharing in oneness and God not allowing deception into the church. It was very good.
